O'Connor's Pharmacy was established on 9 December 1959 by the late Terry O'Connor and his wife Lorraine. Both were highly regarded within the Oatley community and were dedicated to supporting local families with their health and wellbeing. Their son, Tony joined the pharmacy as a student and commenced full-time in 1988.

In 1988, Lorraine sold the pharmacy to Tony and his wife, Gillian, who is also a pharmacist. Together, Tony and Gillian continued the values instilled by Terry - integrity, hard work, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to professional healthcare.

After many years of distinguished and devoted service, Tony and Gillian retired in 2025 and sold the pharmacy to pharmacist Sharief Elali and Assaad Khalil, both of whom bring many years of experience within the pharmacy profession. Sharief and Assaad are dedicated to upholding the pharmacy's long-standing professionalism and maintaining its important role within the community. In recognition of its proud history and legacy, they continue to operate as O'Connors Pharmacy, now proudly aligned with the MediADVICE banner.

Today, O'Connor's Pharmacy presents a refreshed and contemporary image while remaining firmly grounded in its decades-long reputation for delivering high-quality, caring healthcare. Our team continues to actively support the local community through participation in community events and sponsorship of local schools and charitable initiatives.
